This Privacy Policy describes how Board Box ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use our mobile application. Board Box is a collection of classic local multiplayer board games (Gomoku, Othello, Checkers, Dots & Boxes, and Tic Tac Toe) designed for all ages, including children.

1. Information We Collect
We collect no personal information.
Board Box operates entirely on your device. The only data the app stores are:
- Game statistics (wins, losses, draws) saved locally on your device via Android's SharedPreferences storage.
- App settings (theme, hints, haptics) saved locally on your device.
This data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to any server, cloud service, or third party.
2. Internet & Network Access
Board Box does not make any network requests. The
INTERNET permission listed in the Android manifest is a
standard declaration retained for potential future features, but is
currently unused. No data is sent over the network.
3. Advertising
No ads
Board Box contains no advertisements of any kind. We do not integrate any advertising SDK, ad network, or monetisation framework.
4. Third-Party SDKs & Services
Board Box integrates only the Flutter framework and the
shared_preferences plugin (local device storage only).
No analytics, crash-reporting, social-login, advertising, or any other
third-party SDK is included in the app.
5. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
Board Box is designed to be safe for users of all ages, including children under 13. We comply with the United States Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA):
- We do not collect any personal information from any user, including children under 13.
- We do not require account registration or login.
- We do not display advertisements.
- We do not allow in-app purchases.
- We do not include social features, chat, or user-generated content.
- All content in Board Box is appropriate for all ages.

6. EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
Because we collect no personal data, Board Box has no processing activities that require a legal basis under the GDPR. There is no personal data to access, rectify, erase, or port. Users in the European Economic Area (EEA) have no data stored by us to exercise rights over.

7. Google Play Families Policy
Board Box is designed to comply with Google Play's Families Policy:
- All content is appropriate for children of all ages.
- The app contains no violence, sexual content, horror, or mature themes.
- No ads are shown to any user.
- No data is collected from any user, including children.
- No third-party SDKs that could compromise children's privacy are integrated.
- No in-app purchases are present.
8. Data Security
Because Board Box stores only local game statistics and settings on your own device, your data is protected by your device's own security mechanisms (encryption, screen lock, etc.). We have no servers and therefore no server-side data that could be breached.
9. Data Retention & Deletion
Local data (game stats and settings) is retained on your device until you uninstall the app. Uninstalling Board Box permanently removes all locally stored app data from your device.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. Significant changes that affect children's data (if we ever begin collecting any) will be communicated via an in-app notice.
